Ingredients
- 2½ Cups of All-purpose flour
- 1 Tsp. Baking powder
- ¼ Tsp. of salt
- 1 Cup of Sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 beaten Egg
- ¾ Cup of water
Instructions
- Mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, butter, beaten egg.
- Add water and work the dough for about 10 min until the dough will become soft and sticky.
- Divide dough in half .On a floured board roll each half about ⅙ inches thick and cut them in square. Add oil (about 3 inches deep) to a heated skillet/sauce pan.
- Fry in hot oil until golden .Remove from oil, drain, and serve. You can store this in an air tight container for up to a month.
