On the road of BECOMING that one God predestined you to be, you have to get rid of your old habits, characters, and mindsets. You have been set free by the virtues of the cross. Therefore you are no longer under any spell, familiar curses or whatever you think make you do the wrong you do. Remember who the Son set free is free indeed (John 8: 36). Say it louder: I am FREE of my SINFUL NATURE.

Some years back, I found myself at the ground zero level because of my choices. I entertained and nourished the enemy of my soul and destiny. I thought I destroyed my destiny, my entire life. Although I knew that the love of God surpasses it all, I felt that way. Then, I decided to stop all activities and ask myself a million dollar questions: Why Lord? What is wrong with me? Am I cursed?

Then by the divine grace, the Holy Spirit drops in my mind this BOMB. Nothing is wrong with you, all you need is to discipline and control yourself. What??? I was shocked but listen it is the absolute truth. After all, self control is part of the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22).

The devil is lying to you that you can’t control yourself in this particular situation (struggle with immorality, lie, short temper, etc…). If someone who claimed not to be able to control himself tried to escape from a building on fire while someone else is pushing him into it, then he is stronger than he thought and he is able to control himself (Psalm 73:26).

You are beautiful, smart, and strong enough. Don’t underestimate yourself by surrendering to sin. You are standing in the heavenly places far above principalities, witches, demons, evil desires (Ephesians 1).
