When God wrote their love story, living waters from Australia poured life into the land of Texas. Two world apart, The Lord brought them together as in a dream. This is the story of Rachel, daughter of Marcus and Joni lamb, founder of Daystar Television Network. She is a gorgeous God lover and kingdom worker living in Texas. She was busy working for the kingdom in Texas, little did she know, the Lord was preparing her a charming prince in Australia. At God’s appointed time, Rachel Lamb, met her Australian lover Joshua Brown while he was on a media tour in Dallas with the founder of Planet shakers, Pastor Russell Evans for his new book. From that point on Josh’s heart begun to melt for the super smart, funny, talented, and the most beautiful girl he has ever seen (according to him). Rachel being a Christian and God fearing woman didn’t want to just date him for the fun. Therefore, they both started a beautiful friendship based on true communication and Rachel realized that they share the same values and beliefs. Besides that, Josh has the best family with a great legacy and they were raised the same way. She finally accepted him and they started courtship. Time went by and Josh decided to get the relationship to a deeper level by proposing marriage to Rachel in the presence of her family. He planned the most perfect and romantic proposal. The venue was decorated. The pathway leading to the grand piano was full of rose petals. There was candles and vases of flowers on each side of the pathway. It was amazing!
On October 21st of 2016, they exchanged their vows in the presence of their respective families and friends. From the wedding ceremony to the reception, everything was beautiful, full of light, joy, and peace. You could see that Rachel and Josh are authentic givers. The day following their marriage, the newlyweds decides to pour the joy they received from God into the heart of others. They visited and gave flowers from their wedding to patients in nursing homes all over the Dallas metroplex.

What is your biggest dream together?
My parents taught me from an early age that no dream is out of reach when God has placed it in your heart. If you ask anyone who knows me they will tell you I always have a big idea I’m working on, I think it’s just in my DNA! There’s no telling what Josh and I will do together, but I know our future is bright because God’s plans for us are even better than we could ever imagine. (Jeremiah 29:11)
What is something that you have learned from the other?
Josh is one of the wisest people I know! He is quick to forgive and slow to speak. He’s taught me how to handle difficult situations by waiting to react until I have a clear head.
Can you share one thing you do to keep Christ at the center of your relationship?
Every night before bed we say the Lord’s Prayer over the phone. It’s something we started as a way to end our day seeking Him and has been a great way to teach us how to pray like Jesus did.
Advice To Brides
If God is making you wait be prepared to receive more than you asked for. Josh is a fulfillment of my every desire and was more than I could have ever imagined! I pray you all are encouraged your best is yet to come!
Hope is not born on mountain tops, but in valleys when you’re looking to the heights and peaks that you have yet to climb. Don’t give up, because the view from the top is waiting for you!
