JESUS REWARDS

Never Stop your good deeds

So today, I went out with some good friends of mine. Nothing big, just a little time out together in the middle of week. While we were planning for our get together, I decided again to step up and take on me the charge of some stuff concerning the event. I acted like this so many time that the thought of just throwing off that towel crossed my mind. I was thinking, why not just taking care of yourself and forget about the rest. Anyway nobody will care about you.

You will sacrifice yourself and at the end of day then they won’t even be grateful. You will soon hear murmurs and complaints. Then I said NO to myself. I will do it regardless. It is ok if I don’t get any reward or appreciation. This is me and I will feel sad if I’m not being myself. So I went ahead with the plan and we had a great time with my friends.

At the end, while I was going home, one of my friend called me back and presented a gift to me. I didn’t know what to think. This friend of mine who presented the gift, I met her not long ago. I was so surprised and marveled that I didn’t know how to react. So I thanked her and left.

I must say it wasn’t about the gift itself, it was just about the thought. Someone thought it over and decided to show appreciation. Plus, I barely know the person. I didn’t do something special for her. And I’m sure she sacrificed something as well in order for me to have the precious gift I received.

Then, the Lord reminded me of his word saying righteous people will be rewarded for their own righteous behavior, and wicked people will be punished for their own wickedness. However, if righteous people turn from their righteous behavior and start doing sinful things and act like other sinners, should they be allowed to live? No, of course not! All their righteous acts will be forgotten, and they will die for their sins. And if wicked people turn from their wickedness, obey the law, and do what is just and right, they will save their lives.
Therefore, I will judge each of you, O people of Israel, according to your actions, says the Sovereign LORD. (Ezekiel 18:20- 30)

So please, i would like to strongly encourage you to keep up the good work. I know it hard but don’t give up. Great is your reward. The book of chronicles is open and the Angels are recording all your actions. Remain consistent in your good deeds and the Lord who is in heaven, and sees in secret all your sacrifices will reward you in due time and season in public.

For his kingdom,
