SWEET BREAD ( PAIN SUCRE)
Ingredients
  • 6 Cups of bread flour
  • 1 Cup of sugar
  • ½ Teaspoon of vinegar or Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Teaspoon of salt
  • 3 Tablespoons of melted butter
  • 2 Tablespoons of yeast
  • 1 Cup of water
  • 1 Cup of milk
  • 2 Eggs + 1 Egg for brushing
Instructions
  1. Mix the yeast, ½ of the cup of sugar, half of a Cup of Water, and allow the yeast to activate. ( You will see foam on top ).
  2. Add the Flour,butter, vinegar, Salt, ½ cup of sugar, active yeast mixture, milk and eggs into the mixing bowl.
  3. Knead the dough about 15 min.
  4. Put that to a greased bowl and leave it in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.
  5. Transfer it onto a floured work surface and shape it ( braid, ball, or loaf shape)
  6. Place the shaped dough into a greased pan and leave to rise for another 30 Minutes.
  7. After brush the tops with the remaining eggs
  8. Place into a 350 degrees Fahrenheit preheated oven and bake between 20 to 30 minutes.
  9. Leave to cool for a couple of minutes and enjoy!
