Who is God?
Creator of the world, source of all life. Acts 17:24-25, Nehemiah 9:6, Psalm 36
How many true Gods are there?
There is only one true God who is worthy of our worship and praise. Isaiah 45:5, Isaiah 44:6, Isaiah 43:10-11
How has God made himself known to us?
Through creation (Psalm 19:1-4, Romans 1:20); through the bible (Luke 24:44-45); through Jesus (John 1:1-8, Hebrew 1:1-2), through the Holy Spirit (John 14:26)
What is the holiness of God?
God himself is perfectly holy, pure. So we must abide with this nature of God. He doesn’t dwell where there is flirty things. All actions, thoughts, words unholy are punished. Isaiah 6:3
What is the goodness and grace of God?
God gives us material and spiritual blessings in abundance. All that we receive is based on his goodness and grace. Psalm 103:2-5, psalm 145:9
Does God forgive the sins of those who truly repent?
Yes, though God is perfectly holy and wants us to live holy and obedient, he is slow to anger, merciful, forgiving Psalm 103:8-12
Is there any time when God did not exist?
God did not have a beginning and will never have an end. He is from everlasting to everlasting. Psalm 90:2
Is it possible for us to see God?
No, at times God did assume a physical form which made him visible to people he was talking to but he is an eternal spiritual being that cannot be seen by human eyes. 1 John 4: 12
Is God’s power limited in anyway?
God is all powerful- omnipotent, present everywhere, able to do whatever he chooses to do. Psalm 135:6
Does God rule over the entire world?
Yes, sovereign, he has ultimate authority over person, kingdom, and rulers. Deuteronomy 4:39
Is it allow to make images or pictures of God to help us worship him?
No, God doesn’t want us to make idols of any kind. No idol can begin to represent the eternal and invisible God or help us worship God in the way he wants us to worship him. Job 11: 7-8
Can we fully understand everything the bible teaches about God?
No, we can’t understand everything but we need to submit to God’s truth in the Bible.
Why only one true God?
Because we would live in uncertainty, cannot serve each one with all our hearts
